(메기여 sound almost identical to 멕여 – slang for 먹여 – which technically means to feed someone, but is used in context like this to mean to hit someone, screw someone over, etc. For example if you wanted to punch someone, you might say you’d feed them your fist. So the second meaning of this sentence could be “I do you in/screw you over with a single word.”)

My voice has been strangling every one of the rap minors. Closing time at the gaming cafe.

(A PC방 is a hangout for young people with lots of computers and comfortable seating for gaming, and a counter where you can order food. These are very common in South Korea. And according to SK law, minors cannot be in a PC방 after 10 pm.)

(덤 means an extra, a freebie. But of course it also sounds like the English word “dumb”.)

(씹다 – meaning “to chew” – is also slang for dissing someone. Hobi uses it this same way in the first verse of MIC Drop.)

The man riding the man who’s flying over the running man,

(“Above a running man is a flying man” is an idiom. The meaning is that no matter how good you are, there’s always someone who’s better.)

that’s me, beat. A guy more bad than Rain.

You’re a Kakao Talk with no friends, I don’t have anything to do with you.

(볼 일 없어 literally means “I have no occasion/event to see [you].” 일 also means “1”, and in the Kakao Talk messaging app – which is the most widely used messaging app in South Korea – when you send a message to an individual, a little “1” will appear next to it indicating that 1 person in this chat has not seen the message. The 1 disappears when the message is read. So the alternate meaning of this line is “You’re a Kakao Talk with no friends. There are no ‘1’s for you to see.”)

친구 = a friend

없다 = to not be found, not exist

보다 = to see, to look at

일 = an event, occasion (Second meaning: the number 1)

Did you already wet yourself? Sorry, there’s no bathroom.

(Going back to the previous line, 볼 일 보다 can mean “to do one’s business” in the bathroom.)

벌써 = already

지리다 = to wet oneself

미안 = sorry

명령하다 = to command

놓다 = to put something down

You’re just lowly. Why? Because you’re ridiculous.

(Wordplay: the 천 in 천 해 can also mean “fabric” and the 실 in 실 없어 can also mean “thread”. This will come up a little further on in the lyrics.)

천하다 = to be lowly, vulgar
