It’s better because it’s bad.

나쁘다 = to be bad 

-라 or -라서 = since, because (거라)

더 = more (as in “more good”, or “better”)

좋다 = to be good


속으론 알고 있잖아

Deep inside you know it.

속으로 = on the inside

알다 = to know

-잖아 = used when saying something that the listener already knows (있잖아)


이젠 멈춰지지 않는 거야 (You can’t stop)

There’s no stopping now. (You can’t stop)

이제 = now

멈추다 = to stop

-지 않다 = to not do x (멈춰지지 않는)


좀 더 솔직해져봐

Just try being a bit more honest.

좀 = a bit (abbreviation of 조금)

솔직하다 = to be honest


이제 그만 보고 시험 공부해

Now stop watching and study for your test.

그만 = stop (doing something. Often placed before a verb to say “stop doing x”)

보다 = to see, to watch

-고 = and (보고)

시험 = a test, an exam

공부하다 = to study


니 부모님과 부장님 미워해

Your parents and your boss hate me.

니 = you (alternate spelling of 네)

부모님 = parents

-과 or -와 = “and” if followed by a noun, “with” in all other cases

부장님 = boss

나 = I, me

미워하다 = to hate

각종 = various, all kinds of

해석하다 = to analyse, to interpret

시작되다 = to be started
