Verse 1:

찾아내야 했어

I had to find you.

(The word “you” is not included in the Korean sentence, since dropping subjects and objects is very common. Based on the surrounding lyrics, I made the judgment call that the thing being searched for and found was “you”.)

찾아내다 = to find, to locate

All day, all night

사막과 바다들을 건너

I crossed deserts and oceans,

사막 = a desert

-과 / -와 = “and” when followed by an accompanying noun. Otherwise “with” (사막과)

건너다 = to cross

넓고 넓은 세계 헤매어 다녔어
